At the end of summer 2019 me and my best friend Eve visited Paris for a few days, I have wrote a part 1 to this blog telling you all about what we did at the start of our trip and now I'm going to tell you about the rest. After visiting the Lourve we walked down to Champs-Élysées for some shopping (you'll start to realise I'm a shopaholic). We first went into Adidas where they had a pop up for their new trainer collab and we were able to make our own collage poster based on the shoes and then looked around the shoes and clothes. We then went into a really cool designer department store, I'm not sure what it's called but it was quite like Selfridges and Dover Street Market. They had a batman theme happening in the entrance with the batmobile, it was all designer so safe to say I didn't make any purchases. And of course we visited Zara, which I did actually buy a mini bag in. At the end of the shops was the Arc de Triomphe which we didn't have time to go up but I'm sure the views were amazing, but we still had a photoshoot in front of it for the gram. We went to Paris to celebrate Eves 21st birthday so we decided to grab a bottle of prosecco whilst we got ready for the evening and we just had dinner in our hotel resturant which was soo nice, we got nachos as we both love them.

That evening we went to the Moulin Rouge, it was amazing to even see the outside in person as I'd never been before. Even the entrance inside was breath taking with grand

chandeliers and old style, traditional decor, we brought the tickets for a bottle of prosecco and the show so we enjoyed that whilst watching the show. No cameras were allowed whilst the show was being preformed so I wasn't able to capture anything but it was amazing to just sit and watch. I hadn't heard much about the Moulin Rouge before we saw the show therefore didn't know what to expect, Eve was desperate to go so we went for her birthday. The show was amazing, unlike anything I had ever seen, with talented dancers and singers and short acts between the dances including a magician, acrobat and a couple on roller skates which were all amazing. It was really late by the time the show had ended so we just went back to our hotel and had a drink in the bar.

We woke up early the next morning to make the most of our last full day. We went back to Champs-Élysées to walk down the other side and visit all of the shops. We got off the metro

outside the Arc de Triomphe so naturally we stopped for some more photos and the sun was out so it looked even nicer. When walking down the shops we passed by the Louis Vuitton store which had a very unique display with all the coloured pipes, we really wanted to go in but there was a big queue and not much time. Our next stop was Ladurée for classic Parisian macaron, I had tired a couple last year so I tired a new one, chocolate covered hazelnut which was amazing.

We then made our way over to the Eiffel Tower, we walked down small Parisian streets and passed beautiful hotels and designer stores, so I definitely recommend just wondering the streets some times as you can find great places. We also saw the Eiffel Tower from different distances and angles, we crossed a river and explored the local area. Then we finally approached the foot of the Eiffel Tower and went along the gardens in front of it to get some more photos and enjoy the amazing view. Then it was finally our time slot to go up the tower, we did have to wait about 20 to enter but last time we didn't pre book tickets and had to wait about an hour so I would definitely recommend pre booking for a shorter wait. We chose to get the lift as we were tired from all the walking, I walked up the stairs to the first level last time and it was amazing views but very tiring so I would recommend either dependent on how fit you are. When we reached the first level we looked around the edges to the views and took some photos, even on the first level you can see for miles and its breath taking, there was also a section where you could see through the floors down to the ground, my fear of heights really kicked in. We then moved up to the second floor, the views are a bit better but its not much higher so are similar to the first floor but this floor has a gift shop and food, so we stopped for a toastie, got some more photos and made our way to the queue for the summit. I'm scared of heights so this was quite the accomplishment for me, I closed my eyes during the lift ride though, that was too much for me. The views from the top are incredible, you can see the whole of Paris and further, all of the incredible land marks and beauties the city holds. It is 100% worth going to the summit, it's not much more money and the experience is un explainable. We ofcourse took some more photos and enjoyed a glass of very overpriced prosecco and took in the view. Then we came down in the lifts and walked around to the other side of the Eiffel Tower that we hadn't been to, there is a beautiful spot in the gardens below the tower to take photos and chill, I don't think many people know it's there so it was very quiet and had a pond so it was so relaxing and beautiful, highly recommend looking out for this hidden gem. We then headed for the steps behind the Eiffel Tower and stops for a crepe and some photos on the steps, these photos came out great if you are looking for good insta places go there.

We then go on the metro to Square Louis-Michel, we got off at the bottom of a hill and made our way up to the Sacre Coeur. We stopped by some of the small souvenir shops and local stalls along the way. When we reached the took of the hill the sun was setting and the views were unbelievable, perfect for some more photos. This was a spot I didn't visit last time but I very highly recommend taking the walk up there. We then went into the Sacre Coeur and it was again so beautiful, I didn't take any photos out of respect, I am a christian so I used this time to appreciate God and the amazing world he has created. We then made our way into Montmarte I search of a restaurant I had heard great things about called La Maison Rose but unfortunately it was closed so we couldn't eat there, but we took photos in front of the pink wall of course. After this failure we looked for somewhere else for dinner and found a local french restaurant, I'm not sure on it's name but it was quite standard, I did get spaghetti bolognese so I didn't have high expectations, but the staff were lovely and it was a beautiful outside sitting area. When we had finished eating we started to make our way back down the hill to get on the metro, we passed by a local bar which was selling cocktails for €3 so we couldn't pass that up and we stopped for an aperol spritz and mojito. I left early the next morning so we just went to a local bakery for breakfast and had a traditional french croissant and orange juice.

I had the most amazing time in Paris and it continues to be my favourite city to visit and I hope to go back soon.
